As a writer, I’ve had my fair share of struggles with grammar and typos. It’s a problem that social media, especially Twitter, tends to notice quickly, even before understanding the context of your message. My own typo troubles came to light when I published an unedited blog post that received 500 hits and 150,000 impressions in a single day. Missing Out Words While Typing, My Struggle.
“Here is your paper. You have very many sentences missing words, why do you think that happened?” This was the first time someone really comforted me with this hidden embarrassing and shamming trait in my writing. I was scared to answer. I didn’t know what to say to them, because really didn’t why that was happening. Uganda Cranes made it to #AFCON17, we didn’t win but We still LOVE them
After my first write up on the 5 lessons learnt from the game between Uganda cranes and Ghana, a friend insisted I write another. The first was based on analysis of the game and how I thought the different players performed. After the game against Egypt however I could not get myself to write. My emotions would definitely cloud my judgement and I was not about to do cover ups. So I gave it time, for the dust to settle, to get over the disappointment, to forget a few things. Too Emotional To Write
It has been going on for the last 7 days, I have the ideas – actually I wrote them down but I can’t bring myself to expand on them in a 300 word blog post, more or less.
