We could have had it all,

But you played my heart.

You know how the time flies

Only yesterday was the time of our lives,

But now regrets and mistakes, they’re the memories made;

Who would have known how bittersweet this would taste?

You could have brought me diamonds and pearls,

Taken me on cruises around the world, candle lit dinner

And bubble baths, but you thought I wasn’t worthy it.

Now only scars of your love remind me of us

Keeping me thinking of how almost we made it

They leave me breathless, helpless, thinking

You lost the one you wanted

Because you took me for granted,

And everything we had got destroyed.
