Mixed Emotions

We are back where we started from, hiding as if it has every saved us. We always get back out again and move.

I have never understood why we always do this but here are some of the excuses we give ourselves;
– we hide because we are afraid yet we are strong and we know it; 
– we hide because we are scared but fear has never won any battles with us; 
– we hide because we are worried but history shows us that we have never let it take over our future; 
– we hide because we are not sure of who we are but this has never stopped us from conquering the world around  us;
– we hide because we think we need to but surely hiding has never solved anything and we know it

So why do we hide again?!!!

Our emotions can mess us up, tell us things we think we need to hear but clearly we should have learnt now; no good comes out of inquiring from us.

And why of all places do we hide behind here, In ourselves?!! Its not safe considering we have never gained anything from here.
