Whether you are just starting out in the world of entrepreneurship or are a seasoned business owner, it is always helpful to review the basics at the start. In this blog, I will be covering a range of fundamental concepts that are crucial for the success of any business. Most of this blog will have what Apostle Moses Mukisa of Worship Harvest Ministries in Uganda shared about in the first 2023 Business Garage.

I hope that these principles will serve as a helpful guide for you as you navigate the exciting but sometimes challenging world of business in 2023.

To start us off, here are the 5 Is of Business Basics

  • Insight. It all begins with revelation (Romans 12:2)
  • Income. You get it by solving problems (Proverbs 14:23)
  • Increase. You increase something by letting out less than what comes in
  • Investment. Growing what you have kept.
  • Impact. Giving

He said next week, he will excavate deep into each of these 5 to help us understand more. Below is the video of the teaching, you can leave comments and questions on it that will be responded to.

What I picked most was on Insight where he explained it as ICE meaning

  • Information
  • Connections
  • Experience

And Income, where he said income is the reward for solving problems. The money you have is a direct connection to the number of problems you are solving for others.
