Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it

If our young men are not guided, taught and empowered to be the best men for themselves and the ones a community needs, our desires for development and growth will be of no or little substance.

At the moment every evil/problem we are facing in our communities are mainly done by men. Men who never had anyone to show them the right ways, men who were neglected to do as they willed and it became a habit.

The Bible says teach a child the best ways to go and they will never depart from them. So if you don’t teach, train, guide and mentor a boy child, he will be the problem you never prepared for. You can’t straighten an already bent cup or you will just break it. This is evident with many men now, broken and defeated because they can’t be mended.

The pictures below are of boys from BOYS’ Mentorship Programme participating in the different activities that are believed to impact their lives and communities. Skills and memories they will carry on with them throughout their lives until death. Activities that are building their esteem and resilience, empowering them to be responsible for themselves and those around them.

There is a BOYs’ boot camp this December starting from 13th -22nd. If interested apply through www.boysmentorship.org
There is also care for special needs SONS so that they are not left behind.
