Ahem, but Joel Jjemba this pressure!
Here I was going through my twitter mentions, and there it was a notification that he, Joel had mentioned me in his blog. He had nominated me for the Versatile Blogger Award, and that I was to write 7 facts about me.
So before I embark on this task, let’s first pray;
‘Lord Jesus, thank you for this moment. Thank you for the person reading this, bless them abundantly above their imagination. Amen’
I love praying. I am always praying in my spirit, loudly, silently, while singing, talking, writing, and thinking. Sometimes I feel myself praying while sleeping. A few years back I would have never admitted this; I used to think I was talking to myself. But after accepting it and understanding its importance, I recognize it as a conversation with God. I have accepted it.
Ohh, before I forget the rules of engagement have to be shared for this to work so
Rule one is Thank the person that nominated you and include a link to their blog.
Thank you, JJ see you on the other side of #TeamAlwaysHungry!
Anyway after accepting prayer as part of me, I accepted that 50kgs and not above 55kgs is my ideal body weight. Above that, I get high blood pressure and breathing issues.
In regard to issues, Uganda’s problem is not the man wearing the hat; no… it’s the decline in our country’s standards under his leadership. For a long time, we have seen these standards deteriorate instead of improving. But thank God for 2016, there is a chance that when I turn 30 years of age (yes, I am not 18 or 24 as most tend to think) the ruling party and government will be different.
Rule Two: Nominate at least 15 bloggers of your choice. When considering a fellow blogger for the Versatile Blogger Award, keep in mind the quality of their writing, the uniqueness of their subject matter and the level of love displayed on the virtual page.
Different is an attribute I like to associate myself, work and ideas with. My curiosity can’t let me be ordinary. I don’t like boxes; I prefer open spaces and minds.
It has been said that I like being in control but never mind, I like knowing my odds.
Rule Three: Link your nominees and let them know about their nomination.
It’s odd, we are 7 babies at home and I am the third born. Funny thing is most of our relatives and friends think I am the first born.
Rule Four: Share seven facts about yourself
Now on to those bloggers;
Apio Winnie – My new favorite so far this year
Denise Kavuma – with a touch of medicine
Umar Weswala – health and sexuality
Masaba Evelyn – no chills
Kyeyune Bryan – man of standards
Colin Asiiwme – Let me just say he is a leopard
Esther Nyiranziza – soft touch
Pearl Gahwera – it used to be ‘it’s never that serious’
Yo Luopean, thank you for the nomination, saw it after scheduling this.
