I have been reading love letters on Muwado and I got inspired to write my own – not a letter but a poem. It looks like I am more into poems this month than telling stories. Anyway here goes everything – anything – nothing – all things;
The Love of my life is a woman.
The love of my life is a woman,
This woman that makes love to my heart has me tripping.
She has me doubting and proving to myself, and her that we are worthy love.
She wears that honourable look on her, that has me asking ‘why me?’
She knows she is the only one that matters.
And uses that against me.
The Love of My life is a woman.
And she knew it the first time I saw her that forever was ours,
That no man will stand between us and win.
With her my world is full and empty at the same time.
With her I feel lost, like I don’t exist, like I was never born.
The love of my life is a woman,
A woman, a very proud woman!
A no nonsense woman!
This woman has my world around her fingers,
controlling me with her invisible remote.
The Love of My Life is a woman!
She scorns and pampers me like a child.
This woman has me believing in fairy tales.
She has me believing in spiritual beings and Godly creatures.
She has me praying and speaking in tongues,
Encouraging and comforting me, standing in gaps for me,
No matter what I do or happens I know she will always come through for me.
The love of my life is a woman,
And she is not an ordinary woman
Her husband knows this
Her children respect her for it
Her friends admire her for it
Her relatives take her words like its gospel truth
– and it is always gospel truth
Her honour stands on it
The love of my life is a Woman!!
She has always been and still waiting
Waiting for me to realize that she owns
Owns my mind and heart, my life
Life that wouldn’t be mine if it wasn’t for her
Her that woman that has pushed me to better than I ever thought to be.
The love of my life is a woman,
A woman whose husband would kill for,
A woman her children would go to battle for,
A woman strong in spirit and character,
A woman the angles obey and the Holy Spirit guides.
The Love of my life is a woman
And I will do anything for her
I hold her as she holds me for comfort
She has been my love since I first saw her face
The love we share was made in some scared place in heaven.
The happiness she brings me, I can’t contain it, its overflowing.
The love of my life is a woman
And she is my Mother.

It really is funny, because we all assume everyone does it the same way that we do it, with many things. I want to do a few more of these in the future, and have been trying to decide what would be a good mid spring category.
I would like to read what you will write about this.
