You don’t need to have enough, you only need to have a giving heart or helping hand to push the other person to the next level.
When I started Kahill Insights I was like Abraham, called to go to a land he knew not of. Leaving behind his safety net called family he left. Him and those that were birthed through his son Isaac’s journey to the promised land, cover the first 5 and 6 books of the bible. It took them that long but will help. God helped, He appointed for them helpers until they settled.
I have worked in my business for now coming to 5 years since I opened it up in my bedroom with 5,000Ugshs (Appro $2) that were used to buy internet bundles. And I have that there are many areas our young business owners need help with. Some of these areas include but not limited are business mentorships, investment opportunities, partnerships, training.
A good friend of ours ( me and the Husband) and husband to my better friend Becky, Micheal Katagaya recently said,
Good ideas suffer because they can’t find funding. I am seeing it with my businesses. Most accelerators give seminars and yet in many cases you need a little financial push
He said this after reading about my test initiative that is looking at injecting 1 Million Uganda shillings in two young owned businesses that can promise – with great projections and structures- to make a profit in a month and after the money is withdrawn from the business and it will still be able to continue on strong.
My Be Like Ryan Coogler Initiative was inspired by the story about this young man of not less than 30 years old being able to multiply the little money he was given to produce movies to huge sums of profit after release.
I am running the initiative’s test drive documentation on my Medium blog platform and will this week hand over 1 million Uganda shillings to two people who reached out when I set the challenge on my Facebook page.
With this, I am hoping to improve some livelihoods, grow some businesses and motivate some people using Ryan’s inspiration to multiply the little to a bigger thing.
There is hope in my heart that someone else is going to pick this thread of mine and continue it in their community or circles. That many people will help out others and guide them to better levels.
