There are three contributors to mental illness and each has its own form of treatment. These contributors include Biological, Psychological, and Social which were written about in-depth in the Causes of mental illness and their diagnosis technique. Below are the treatment measures to use. So, for Biological factors treatments, they are traditionally divided into four categories Antipsychotic drugs or neuroleptics, used to treat psychosis. Antidepressant drugs used to treat depression. Anti maniac drugs, or mood stabilizers used to treat bipolar disorder. Last week on Thursday one of my 3,000 friends on Facebook killed himself. He was young. He was an achiever at his workplace. He was in love. He was suffering from depression. He had been depressed for some time as per the information that came through on Facebook from those who were close to him. She woke up today feeling low and lonely, she expressed this to her beloved. He told her to stop seeking attention where there was no need. Rudely, he pushed her over and walked away. Now she lays in a coffin. Her beloved doesn’t understand why. The increased need to teach/educate each other about the problems of the mind should be taken seriously. If he had paid attention, given her a hug. She wouldn’t have committed suicide, leaving a note saying ” I couldn’t keep feeling alone and unhappy” With enough knowledge and understanding, the beloved would have stayed home and hugged her.
