Last year during #UgBloggers7days challenge I shared a chapter – He Keeps Me Awake – from a book I was writing. The book had since moved forward slowly by slowly and was almost done but I halted it.  It was going to be a 30 paged love story written for my babies and would be house guests in my day dreamed simple house.

So because it took me time to compose and rely my feelings and thoughts in the lines that were to make it, I have decided to share what few chapters I had manager to pull off.

chapter 3

She did know what the future held but was determined to continue on her adventure, falling for a man who was not hers. A few foreseen problems like a heartbreak and painful headaches, plus disappointment was already evident in Kimberly’s new life but she didn’t care.

She had known pain before, experienced heartbreaks and understood misfortune from former relationships but had never crushed on anyone like she did now. To her this was new; this was not an ordinary crush, this was what kept her awake.

She was at least glad she used her sleepless night for something good. Kimberly  was a writer and loved to read mainly romance novels, that fueled her desires. When she wrote it her thoughts about him. She stalked him online and made sure she was at-least up to date with his life.

She always wondered while looking through his pictures with his woman why God had made her crush on him. “What is it about him that I like?” she continuously questioned herself but never really got the answer.

Determination to find out why when she asked God for her own man that one cool sunny Saturday morning he lead her to him. A guy she hoped would change her life. She believed God had led her to him, and when she was not reading or writing she was asking the creator of the universal why him. Why her burden, her crush had to be him. In all eternity she knew everything happens for a reason. Things, situations, problems and everything good stays as is until it accomplishes its aim and purpose.

When her guilty overwhelmed her after realizing she was sinning, Kimberly cried out to God to take him away, she couldn’t take the torture. Every time she yawned for him she knew in herself that he would never answer her cry, never be there for her, never consider her feelings or pretend to care about them and her. All he did was ‘laugh at her pain’ she thought. With all her might she knew she had to let go and focus her energy somewhere else.”but how does one remove a virus from a computer without an antivirus? How does one remove a strain without a detergent?” she shouted one cold evening.

There are more two chapters to this story, will share them when I can and able.
