Will Uber Prosper In Uganda?

We all already know ( If you didn’t, now you will know) that they are here, the American multinational online transportation network company headquartered in San Francisco, California is starting its operation in the Pearl of Africa.

Uber’s mobile app, allows consumers with smartphones to order for a cable and anyone who is a Uber driver can pick them up and get paid.

Will they proposer here considering the kind of market they are targeting is the Boda Boda enjoying kind, and that our road transport infrastructure doesn’t really favour cars that much?

Also do these guys know about the taxis and buses in this great city Kampala, will they fares be competitive considering they all use the same transport infrastructure.

Also would you order for a cable or walk out of your house and shout for a bodab?

Panya the bot

I have been ‘playing’ with this Bot for like the whole week on Telegram. Its an interesting bot that provides the best shortcuts(panyas- hehe the originality in this, I love Ugandan brands) to find great services and products in Kampala, see image below. You should try it out if you have the Telegram messenger app or download the app and enjoy Panya.

Twitter to Stop Counting Photos and Links in 140-Character Limit

For a twitter fan this is good news, pics and links were eating up our characters and crapping on creative writing. It should be known that links currently take up 23 characters, even after Twitter automatically shortens them.

The change is rumoured to happen in the next two weeks and I am excited.

It should also be know that Twitter has been making videos a priority as part of its push for live events.

Your Menstrual Comfort Website

I am building an ecommerce website – not exactly me but rather my company, Kahill Insights is building one. I think it going to be a cool one and I can’t wait for it to be finished and tested.

I can’t wait for the critics, the lovers, fans and supporters plus the haters when we start the test drive and finally launch it. I am all super excited and tempted to share more but my team will kill me, probably sue me too.

Facts;

Over 16 million websites are added to the web a day. Over 1,000 mobile apps are submitted to the app store a week. (2015 stats via Mikael Cho)

How are all these marketed? How do their analytics look like?

Thank about that and let it inspire your creative and innovative mind.
